About me ...
Hey, I'm Elias.
I'm 27, based in Belgium, and I have a normal job like most people. I'm not a financial expert, a minimalism guru, or a wellness coach. I'm just someone who got tired of sleepwalking through a life that looked fine on paper but felt a little off in practice, and decided to actually do something about it.
That's really where Minimal Margin started. Not as a brand. As a question I kept circling back to: what does a genuinely good life look like, once you stop performing it for other people?
I started paying closer attention to three things that kept showing up in that question. How I think about money, and whether I actually needed more of it or just needed less dependence on it. How much I owned, and how much of that was actually adding something versus just taking up space. And how fast I was moving through my days, whether I was present for any of it or just getting through it.
Wealth. Minimalism. Slow living. Three pillars, one life, built a little more intentionally every week.
Outside of work and writing, I run. I spend a lot of time outside, usually with no particular destination in mind, which I've come to realize is half the point. Nature has a way of putting things back into perspective that no amount of thinking at my desk ever manages to.
This isn't a success story told in hindsight. I'm not finished, not arrived, not handing down conclusions from somewhere ahead of you. I'm right in the middle of it, same as you probably are, slowly working out what matters and what was just noise.
If any of that sounds like where you are too, you're in the right place. Let's figure it out together.
